Girl allowed her fiancé to make a tattoo on her face (5 photos)
Alithia Thoburn, 20, from Bristol, UK, admitted that she has no regrets about her impulsive decision to get a face tattoo, despite being called "stupid" and "a criminal" by those around her. She has had a passion for the art form since she was eight years old.
Her fiancé Jonathan Saunders, 37, was tattooing Alithia's arm when they spontaneously decided to go ahead with the work. The result is a thick line that reaches all the way to her face and blends in with the other images.
Although the haters continue to say that the girl "ruined her face", this tattoo, reminiscent of a brush stroke, is liked by Alithia.
"I don't understand why people think that tattoos are associated with the criminal world. For me, they can be a symbol of something positive, like a memorable event. I am lucky to have a tattoo on my face. I didn't think about it, but I don't regret anything," says the British woman.
Thoburn got her first tattoo herself at the age of 14. She bought everything she needed for the job online. At 18, she completed her training and now works in a studio in Oxfordshire.
In May 2023, Alithia decided to get her first tattoo on her face. She had been thinking about it for a long time, but at first she was focused on the rest of her body. When she came to Jonathan for a session, he spontaneously suggested, "Why don't we do a face tattoo?"
Later, Alithia added floral patterns to the tattoo to "make it look more feminine."
The girl is often told that she has ruined her face and no one will want to be with her.
She commented, "Let them think that I will regret my tattoos. I don't care what they think."
One older woman even asked Alithia, "What the hell did you do to your face?" before calling her a "stupid bitch."
The British woman plans to cover her entire body in ink so that the drawings merge into one big picture.
She explained: “It will be a one-piece suit – we are already in the process. I like working on my appearance. No regrets, because otherwise I would not be myself.”
