Cats can seem like cold and distant creatures. As if they came from another planet and don’t know how to show their affection.
But this is not true. Fluffy creatures are known for their independence and emotionless facial expression, which makes it difficult to understand whether a kitty really feels love and affection for a person. But there are other ways cats – tried and tested – demonstrate tenderness and a special reverent attitude towards their person.
1. Massage
This is how they want to thank you for all the hugs you give them.
2. Gift
A gift is a gift. No matter how strange or unexpected it may seem.
3. Butting
This is a sign of special trust.
4. Glance
An expressive glance is more visible than any other evidence of a sincere attitude.
5. Showing off the belly
Animals prefer to hide their vulnerable spots. Therefore, a cat lying with an open belly is a sure sign that he feels comfortable and relaxed.
6. Tail
Their tails can tell a lot of stories. If the tail is fluffy at the base and curls at the end, then your pet is doing great.
7. Bite
During play, a cat can bite, but it does it very delicately, without causing pain or causing real wounds.
8. Licking
This is a form of communication and a demonstration of affection - just like we do when we pet our pets.
9. Purring
The magical power of purring is real. Its volume and tone can show how happy your cat is with your cuddles.
10. Engagement
If your cat is always aware of your activities, it is because she loves you. Perhaps such engagement and omnipresence is sometimes annoying. But cats just can't accept that you're busy with something else. And it's incredibly touching and cute!
