Samantha Cotton was dancing and belting out the lyrics, but the fun suddenly stopped when the bride suddenly collapsed on the floor. According to her, the reason for her poor health was the lack of food and fluids during the day.

The joy of her wedding day turned into an unexpected incident when 26-year-old Samantha Cotton from Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey (USA) fainted right on the dance floor during the celebration of her marriage to Shane Gono. The event took place on December 7 at the Ramblewood Country Club in the presence of 185 guests.

Samantha, known for her energy, had a blast dancing to her favorite hits, including Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, Mr. Brightside by The Killers, and Yeah! by Usher. However, the celebration was cut short when the bride unexpectedly fell.

"Everything was going great, I was dancing and screaming the lyrics, when I suddenly felt like I was going to pass out. I woke up on the floor with a lot of worried faces around me," she shared.

Samantha's husband, mother, sister, and friends, who all work in the medical field, immediately came to her aid. Medical help arrived within 15 minutes, and the bride's condition was assessed as stable. However, Samantha refused the offer to go to the hospital.

According to the bride herself, the cause of the incident was a lack of food and fluids during the day, combined with alcohol and the heat in the room. One of the guests suggested that the loss of consciousness could be associated with a decrease in blood sugar, offering the woman a cake, which she immediately spat out.

After first aid, the celebration was over, and the newlyweds continued the party at a local restaurant. The next day, Samantha felt well, and the couple went on their honeymoon to Las Vegas.

"I just had to drink more water and not overheat. Now it's all behind us, and we are ready to start our family life from scratch," she added.

The couple, who began their relationship in their school years and are raising a son together, hope for a long and happy marriage.
