A tourist scattered ashes in an ancient city and sparked outrage online (3 photos + 1 video)
This woman has caused a lot of negativity towards herself, because she did not come to Machu Picchu (Peru) to admire the sights. 
The lady brought with her the ashes of a certain loved one and scattered these ashes to the wind. But if the woman hoped that the scene would be touching, then her hopes were not justified. 
Such an eccentric act outraged many people, including defenders of Peruvian cultural heritage and police officers, who are currently trying to find both the stranger and the tour operator who sent her to the ancient city of the Incas. 
Internet users are also seething with indignation, accusing the lady of a passion for overly spectacular gestures. Desecration of remains is terrible. But perhaps even more terrible is to desecrate Machu Picchu with other people's remains.
