The Pied Raven was found in Yorkshire, although this bird species usually lives in Africa. It is not exactly known how the bird ended up in the north of England.
But the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds believes that the bird used to live in someone's house. According to ornithologists, this could explain the raven's ability to imitate human speech.
