A wounded occupier begged a Ukrainian drone for medicine and water and ran to surrender under fire from Russian artillerymen.
The wounded occupier surrendered to the fighters of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa, signaling his intention through a drone that hovered over the remains of his position. As reported by Censor.NET, the drone operator dropped painkillers, water, and a note with instructions to the Russian. The video recording of the "trophying" of the occupier shows that his fellow artillerymen were shooting after him.
"A real thriller from the soldiers of the K-2 battalion of the 54th mechanized brigade, who have taken occupiers prisoner with the help of a drone more than once. After a failed assault, a Russian soldier sat in a trench for a whole week without food or water and miraculously survived several drops from a drone. Then he crawled out of hiding and asked to be taken prisoner. A UAV operator with the call sign "Staiger" dropped him painkillers, water and a note with instructions. During the crossing, Russian artillery tried to finish him off, but here too he was very lucky," the author of the publication notes in a comment.
