In the US, a bank employee died at work, but her colleagues did not notice (2 photos + 2 videos)
Okay, they only noticed it four days later, when the office was already filled with the smell of a corpse.
60-year-old Arizona Wells Fargo employee Denise Prudhomme walked into her office on Friday, seemingly on a normal workday. She never came out, but no one paid attention. Her office was on the third floor, away from the main hallway.
Four days later, when unpleasant odors filled the hallway, the deceased's colleagues decided that the sewer system had failed, and they would probably have continued to ignore the problem until one of the bank employees decided to look into Denise's office. The woman was sitting at her desk with no signs of life, but already showing signs of decomposition.
The police who arrived at the scene were surprised how they could have ignored the presence of a corpse in the room for so long. The cause of death has not yet been determined by the Maricopa County Medical Examiner. Police said that the preliminary investigation did not reveal any obvious signs of a crime.
The investigation is ongoing.
Do you think these are the worst colleagues? Nope, here's another example of a friendly team at the London international insurance firm Beazley.
Teller County Search and Rescue with an abandoned employee
They decided to go on a hike to Mount Shawano to strengthen their cooperation. To have a team building session there, God forgive me. At the beginning of the climb, there were 15 employees in the team, and upon returning, there were already 14.
It turns out that one poor guy was allegedly accidentally forgotten on the mountain, and all the flags that marked the way were taken.
The hero of the day went up and down the mountain in search of communication to send a signal about his location. The guy got caught in a storm with freezing rain, gusty winds, spent the night in the cold and fell from steep slopes more than 20 times before a rescue team found him.
With colleagues like these, you don't need enemies.
