Okay, don't throw slippers at me, the apartment is not economy class, but still.

So, what do we have? An extremely interesting lot - Fladdah Chuain, located off the coast of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. On the plus side - the island is completely uninhabited and the Vikings used to party there, on the minus side - there is no Internet.

For just £190,000 (₽20 million), you can become the owner of 27 hectares of rugged, rocky, insanely brutal historical space.

According to local legends, this sacred place is the "Island of Eternal Youth", where it is always summer and the sun never sets.

The ruins in the photo are a chapel built in the 11th century. They say that inside the chapel, on the altar, there was a stone known as the "Weeping Stone". Folklore says that the stone was constantly wet, because there was a tradition. Before setting out to sea, fishermen would pour three handfuls of sea water onto the rock to ensure a favourable wind and catch.

Fladda Chuain (which translates as ‘Flat Island of the Ocean’) is the largest island in the Fladdah Islands, located off the Trotternish Peninsula on the Isle of Skye. The island features small valleys, peaks and cliffs, with the highest point standing at 29 metres above sea level.

The island’s stunning coastline encompasses cliffs, coves and bays, providing a number of landing spots for small boats or kayaks. The northern part of the island has a sea lagoon protected by an outer reef.

The island was repeatedly visited by Vikings, who systematically exterminated the local population. Ancient shipwrecks can still be found near the island. In 1851, an 11th-century gold ring was discovered here, which is still on display in the National Museum of Scotland.

The island is currently completely deserted, but is inhabited by its own colony of seals, and dolphins, whales, and sharks often swim to it. Fishing enthusiasts are guaranteed a rich catch.

"There are plenty of fish to catch for anglers of all skill levels, both off the rocks and further afield, where you can find mackerel, cod, pollock, saithe and tench. There are also lobsters, crabs and langoustines to catch in traps."

The future owner of the island will be able to build a hut on it. And you can get to the mainland on your own boat, as there are simply no other options.
