Ambling is a type of horse gait (gait) in which the legs move unilaterally. For example, first the left, and then the right. Ambling can be congenital, natural or artificially developed.

During normal movement, the horse consistently moves its legs diagonally. For example, first right rear and left front, then left rear and right front.

In this video, the Icelandic horse is ambling.
