The Minister of Economy was unable to break a bottle of champagne on board
German Economics Minister and Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck found himself in a curious situation during the ship's launching ceremony - he tried several times to break a bottle of champagne, but all efforts were in vain.
The country's Minister of Economy, Robert Habeck, using a special mechanism, traditionally tried to break a bottle of champagne on the side of the ship. However, all his attempts were a fiasco. The stubborn bottle did not want to break at all.
After a series of failures, the minister's assistants suggested that he resort to a more traditional method. The bottle obeyed only after it was picked up and properly slapped against the side of the ship.
