Brabus made the fastest S-Class even more powerful (22 photos)

The Brabus studio presented a new work, the basis for which was the flagship Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan in the AMG S 63 E Performance version. The car was modified comprehensively - the power plant, chassis, exterior and interior were affected. The Brabus 930 costs at least 405 thousand euros - about twice as expensive as the standard S-Class from AMG.





In the S 63 E Performance version, the sedan is equipped with a 4-liter supercharged V8 and an electric motor, which together develop a peak 802 hp. With. and 1430 Nm. The tuners from Brabus did not touch the electrical part of the power plant, but boosted the gasoline part using new turbochargers. As a result, the combined output of the two engines reached 930 hp. With. and 1510 Nm. As before, they are implemented through a 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

The Brabus 930 will accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds (0.1 second faster than the standard). In addition, the studio changed the maximum speed limiter, moving it from the standard 250 to 290 km/h. The car is equipped with a custom exhaust system with tips made of carbon and titanium, capable of operating in several modes. The new suspension control module will lower the ride height by an additional 10 mm if necessary.

Brabus has decorated the sedan with proprietary carbon fiber aerodynamic parts that improve brake cooling and reduce lift. The modified sedan also features 22-inch forged wheels. The interior is offered to be completely re-upholstered with expensive leather in colors of the customer’s choosing - completely black and bright blue options have already been presented. The interior trim uses carbon fiber trim and 77 symbols - a reference to the year the tuning studio was founded.
