1. Ocean doesn’t have 11 friends, but 10 (Ryan, Tishkoff, Catton, the Malloy brothers, Dell, Tarr, Bloom, Ian, Caldwell). A literal translation of the film should sound something like Ocean's Eleven.



2. This is a remake of the 1960 film of the same name, which starred famous actors of those times, including Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. In films from 1960 and 2001. The names of Danny Ocean's friends are never the same.

3. The 2001 film featured cameos from two actors from the 1960 cast: Henry Silva and Angie Dickinson.





4. Don Cheadle, who played Basher Tarr, is uncredited. The reason was never stated for certain from Cheadle himself, but rumors whisper that it was a matter of recognition.
