Teenagers snuck onto the roof of a 37-story high-rise (3 photos + 1 video)
The boys had a get-together on the ledge of the luxury residential building Admiralty Towers II on Queen Street in Brisbane. Eyewitness Benjamin Eremaya captured the chilling footage last Friday.
The cornice, located directly above the balcony of one of the apartments, is located to the side of the common area with a swimming pool for residents.
“We were scared to see teenage boys dangling 30 floors up,” the man commented. “There were no safety fences to keep them safe. We couldn’t believe our eyes.”
A boy with a backpack can be seen leaning forward to look at the river bank. Two other teenagers are busy with smartphones.
Admiralty Towers II, built in 1997, is the largest of the three Admiralty complexes and includes 193 apartments over 37 floors. Residents have access to amenities such as a heated indoor pool, spa, sauna and gym.
“Admiralty Towers II offers the convenience of city center living and a serene haven where you can escape the daily grind and just 'be,'” writes a real estate agent from Amazing Apartments.
"If you enjoy nightlife, lead an active lifestyle or just like to relax with a glass of wine on your balcony, there's no better option."
In 2020, a four-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouse measuring 410 square meters sold for $4 million.
Currently, the cost of apartments in this complex ranges from AUD 840,000 to AUD 1.8 million.
