In Russia, a teacher was fired for taking photographs of “indecent” cacti (2 photos + 1 video)
The struggle for morality has reached new levels. They write online that a teacher in Volgograd was fired who published photographs of cacti in a general chat, saying that the flowers were intended for March 8th. Feminists considered the frame indecent. The man was forced to write a statement of his own.
A petition has appeared on Change.org demanding the reinstatement of Alexei Zhdanov, a teacher and associate professor of the TMS department at Volgograd State Technical University, who was fired for sending a photo of a cactus to a chat with girls on March 9. According to the petition, he was then removed from the chats and fired.
Well, at least that's what he says himself:
Alexey Zhdanov is fond of growing cacti; he has a whole collection of different species. The cacti bloomed on March 9, they didn’t make it by 8.
He shared this news in the chat and attached a photo of one of the cacti.
After posting, Alexey Zhdanov was excluded from all chats, and he was invited to a “conversation”..., the public writes.
The petition currently has 33 votes out of 50.
