The mystery surrounding the “alien mummies” that were found in Peru last October has been solved. What was it?





“Alien encounters” across the two American continents have become more frequent in recent weeks: earlier this month, a bizarre conspiracy theory claiming aliens had visited a Miami shopping mall surfaced online, and last week, a woman on a hike with her family in Brazil was filmed “ three-meter creatures" standing on the top of the hill.

And, of course, the big news from Peru about two small “humanoid” creatures found in a cardboard box at the Lima airport is still fresh in my memory. Well, we can say with confidence that at least this mystery has been solved once and for all.



The “creatures” found appeared to be mummified and were dressed in traditional Andean outfits. Naturally, their appearance gave rise to a lot of speculation, and some people decided that they could be real. So much so that Peruvian officials decided to test the "mummies" to determine what they were and where they came from.

And this is bad news for those who were hoping for confirmation of the existence of aliens on Earth, as it turns out that these two samples are completely man-made. This was announced on January 12 at a press conference.

“The conclusion is simple: these are not aliens. These are dolls made from the bones of animals from this planet, using modern synthetic glue. So they are not from pre-Hispanic times. This is a completely made-up story,” said Flavio Estrada, an archaeologist at the Peruvian Institute of Legal Medicine and Criminology.



The examination showed that the bones of birds, dogs and other animals were used to create the dolls. The appearance of “mummified aliens” comes after Mexican ufologist journalist Jaime Maussan claimed to have a couple of alien specimens.

The 70-year-old journalist said they were centuries-old alien corpses found in diatom sites in Cusco, Peru, and said their discovery was the most important thing that had happened to humanity. “These specimens are part of Earth's evolution. We found the remains in areas where diatoms accumulated, not where the UFO crashed. These intelligent beings lived with us, with people. We are not alone! - said Maussan.
