“For the first time on Sunday, the movement of a unit using civilian trucks (covered trucks) as part of a convoy was recorded. During transportation, places were installed to accommodate personnel and engineering and fortification structures transported in an open manner,” the message says.
It is noted that the column was moving through the center of Mariupol in the direction of occupied Berdyansk.
“It is the escort from the Eastern border to the Western exit from the village of Mangush that gives confidence to confirm the use of civilian transport in the convoy. Previously, we also recorded the separate use of civilian transport - trucks for military purposes. However, the use itself in an organized convoy was recorded for the first time,” added Andryushchenko .
