An armed Texan stopped a robber in a cafe
A man with a gun was shot and killed by a customer at a cafe in Houston, Texas, who had taken money and other valuables from people.
The incident occurred in early January 2023. A local resident came to the cafe and ordered food. However, he was unable to taste it calmly. During the meal, a robber attacked the establishment and began to demand that all the money be given to him.
The 30-year-old attacker was wearing a mask and gloves. Threatening him with a pistol, he walked around the premises and collected cash and jewelry from visitors. As it turned out later, his gun was not real. Then the visitor decided to save the situation and pulled out a real firearm from his bosom.
As soon as the robber turned away for a second, the visitor fired. The robber began to fall. Then the shooter approached him and fired several more bullets. The attacker died on the spot.
After the criminal was neutralized, the man took the stolen money from him and returned it to the victims. After the incident, all visitors, including the shooter, left the scene before the police arrived.
However, law enforcement officers still managed to find the man. He turned out to be a 46-year-old local resident. After interrogation, the case was transferred to a special commission.
It was recently reported that a jury declined to prosecute a man who killed a robber.
