In the meantime, Japanese television channels have canceled entertainment programs and are reporting on the tsunami and earthquake.

A tsunami warning is in effect for the entire western coast of the country from northern Hokaido to the southern island of Kyushu. Currently, the maximum wave height recorded by the Meteorological Agency does not exceed 1.2 m, but in Japan everyone is on guard.

All high-speed trains have been suspended in Ishikawa Prefecture. An emergency headquarters has been opened at the Office of the Prime Minister of Japan to collect and analyze information after a series of earthquakes.

In the meantime, residents of regions affected by the disaster are sharing videos of the consequences:

It is reported that more than 35 thousand homes in central Japan were left without electricity. Many households are damaged. The country's armed forces will be used to eliminate the consequences of earthquakes and tsunamis, the government reported. But the main thing is that no failures in the operation of the nuclear power plant have been recorded yet.
