Chinese architecture has a number of its own unique features: the elegance of all structures and at the same time their monumentality, the combination of various materials and colors, the brightness and sophistication of interior and exterior decor.
The structure, with its striking examples of mortise and tenon joints, is an ancient style with a history dating back at least 7,000 years.
