Scientists have created an artificial brain and connected it to a computer. He already understands speech and solves equations (3 photos + 2 videos)
The rise of the machines is just around the corner.
American researchers from Indiana University connected human brain tissue with electronics and built a biocomputer called Brainoware. The thing can analyze, calculate and remember. For example, it already solves mathematical problems and recognizes speech.
Brainoware prototype
To show the work of electric brains, scientists loaded it with 240 records in different languages and ordered it to find the right one. Two days passed and the “robobrain” began to detect speech with an accuracy of 78%. It constantly analyzes, corrects the results obtained and learns, a kind of neural network 2.0.

The creators of the biobrain are still modest and assure that this is not a replacement for the human mind. Bye. But in the future, this biomiracle will only develop and get smarter. At a certain stage, they will begin to implant it into pieces of iron, which now look quite ridiculous:
Then they will very quickly cease to be clumsy tins and begin to imitate human behavior. According to scientists, this will happen in the next 20-30 years. Skeptics claim that researchers want to quickly push biological humans to the margins of evolution and replace them with a robot with a neural network or biobrain. And others believe that this is progress - it can be slowed down a little, but it will not be possible to stop it.
