Viewers who are not particularly versed in all sorts of supermen and spider-men do not see any fundamental difference in the Marvel and DC cinematic universes. But for fans, superheroics are two completely different worlds. And many actors have a very strong image of some kind of superhero attached to them. For example, Robert Downey Jr. is the Iron Man of all times, and, for example, Chris Evans is Captain America. But some actors manage to act for both Marvel and DC.
