A little Londoner has won a raffle to celebrate the billionth sale of energy drink Prime. The action was held in London and New York: there, each bottle made of pure gold was placed in special bulletproof boxes. The winner had to guess a six-digit code.
The campaign was carried out by famous YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul, the first in London, the second in New York. The Prime energy drink is their joint project, which they are promoting very powerfully. The rules of the competition were announced:
“On November 10, the $500,000 gold Prime will be encased in bulletproof glass. To get to it, you need to guess the six-digit code. Each person has only one attempt and 20 seconds for it. If no one guesses the code within 48 hours, the torches inside the box will begin to burn, the bottle will melt and will be worth nothing.”
Solid gold bottles were located in London and New York, with fans lining up to guess the code. Logan Paul and KSI asked former NASA engineer Mark Rober to make a bulletproof case.
In a video posted to Prime's social media, viewers saw the moment a lucky young fan won the competition and became half a million dollars (£400,000) richer.
The boy entered his code - 954229 - and suddenly the room flashed green lights, confetti rained down from above, and KSI shouted: "Oh my god, we have a winner in London!"
The boy's mother was next to him at that moment. She was indescribably delighted.
Meanwhile, in New York, where Logan Paul held the American part of the competition, the second bottle had to be destroyed, since there could only be one winner.
Well what can I say. The drink must be delicious, and the competitions are interesting.
