The guy invented a new subgenre of metal

Metal is a very diverse genre. It can take forever to list and review the subgenres. There's classic heavy metal, doom metal, glam metal, thrash metal, speed metal, death metal, black metal and just the tiny tip of the iceberg. But what does it all have in common? Of course, "overload". Overdrive, fuzz, crunch and distortion are the pedals without which heavy music is impossible. And this guy got hold of a pedal with an interesting effect and accidentally... came up with a new subgenre of metal. And what? Sounds fun.
