Escape, pursuit, blockade and arrest of a person wanted on an arrest warrant

Indian River County, Florida. On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, the Indian River County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Jupiter Police Department and advised of a stabbing that had occurred in their jurisdiction with a suspect identified as 28-year-old Nicholas. David Parchesco was last seen fleeing northbound on I-95 at a high rate of speed. Officers immediately responded to the south county line and waited for the vehicle. The real-time crime control center detected the vehicle using LPR cameras located in the area and provided real-time information about its location and direction of travel.

Local police and HAWK (Helicopter) received the information in real time and quickly spotted the vehicle entering the area. Parchesko dangerously tried to elude the police, but was slowed down and eventually stopped after using various measures. Parchesco was taken into custody and faces numerous charges, including attempted murder. No one was injured during the pursuit or arrest. Parchesco was booked into the Indian River County Jail where he was given a $100,000 bond for fleeing and evading law enforcement. Authorities have not released information about the doctor who was stabbed, including his identity or condition.
