Scarlett Johansson sues the developers of an AI application (5 photos)
Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson intends to sue the developers of the Lisa AI: 90s Yearbook & Avatar application, which used artificial intelligence to create her image and voice for advertising. The 22-second video of the 38-year-old actress was posted on social media site X. 
"We do not take such matters lightly. As is our normal course of action in such circumstances, we will pursue all legal remedies available to us," said the actress's lawyer, Kevin Yorn.
The advertisement appeared on social networks on October 28 and disappeared the same day. 
According to Variety, the video began with a generated footage of Johansson on the set of Black Widow, in which she says, "What's up, guys? This is Scarlett, and I want you to come with me..." Next, the actress talked about an application that allows you to create not only avatars, but images with texts and even videos.
The fine print stated that all images were created by artificial intelligence Lisa AI and have no relation to a real person. 
Many states have strict laws regarding privacy rights. 
The famous Tom Hanks found himself in a similar situation. The actor warned his fans that the dental advertising was created using artificial intelligence. 
The 67-year-old Oscar winner told his 9.5 million followers that the video was created without his permission.
Hanks has previously expressed concerns about AI: "We saw it coming. We saw it being possible to take zeros and ones and turn them into a face and a character. I can say that there are discussions going on in all the guilds, in all the agencies and in all the law firms about how to legally formalize the fact that a person's face and voice are his intellectual property.
