New Yorker Carly Hittner witnessed an extraordinary scene while waiting for a train on the subway. The woman noticed a half-eaten glazed donut on the tracks, which was found by an interested rat. To her surprise, the animal did not immediately eat the donut; instead, the rodent dragged it along with it, only having one meal along the way.

However, he did not intend to hide the loot, but brought it to his girlfriend, who was sitting nearby. The second rat was at first frightened by the huge gift and ran away, but then returned and started eating the donut with its friend.
