FIFA suspended the head of the Spanish football federation for kissing an athlete (3 photos + 1 video)
He is now prohibited from engaging in any football-related activities. He got off easy - they wanted to put him in prison. 
The women's final of the 2023 World Cup took place. The Spanish team won it. The head of this country's football federation, Luis Rubialis, was so ecstatic that he kissed one of the Spanish athletes on the lips. 
Later, the tattooed madam stated that she did not consent to the kiss and that it was unpleasant to her.
The first thing I said to him when I hugged him was: “What have we done,” and he attacked me. The only thing I remember is that he told me: “We won this World Cup because of you.” The next thing I remember is his hands on my head and a kiss on my lips.
I didn't feel respected as a player or as a person. There was deathly silence on the bus (after the match). They told me that something was happening. I felt forced.
He tried to change the subject a little and told us about an all-expenses paid trip to Ibiza. He grabbed me, grabbed me by the shoulder because I was nearby. That's when I started to get angry. It was awkward, and I saw that something more serious was happening. Something that happened was abnormal. And it wasn't okay at any point.
I was in the locker room and they told me they needed me to come out and there was a lot of talk about a kiss. I told them, "I know what it was like and it wasn't good." I overcame myself and continued to celebrate with my teammates.
Because of this, a scandal broke out and Rubiales was suspended from work. Initially, he was generally threatened with a real prison sentence of up to 4 years. But when he left office, the outrage subsided and an investigation began. On it, Rubiales stated that that football player was defaming him, and this is why the kiss happened:
Well, out of joy. She grabbed me wherever she could, and so did I. That's all. After two or three minutes they all grabbed me and lifted me up, swinging me. And at this moment I will not say that they should not touch me, touch my, excuse me, butt, knees or shoulders. We won the world championship. The enormous euphoria and joy are indescribable.
This did not help; today the disciplinary committee (FIFA) banned the former head of the Spanish league from engaging in any football activities for 3 years.
