In France, a dentist was jailed for earning millions of euros by removing healthy teeth from patients (2 photos)
During his career, the dentist, not burdened by the Hippocratic Oath, pulled out almost 4 thousand healthy teeth from unfortunate clients.
A French court has confirmed the conviction of 43-year-old dentist Lionel Guedge from Marseille, who imposed unnecessary procedures and caused injuries to patients in the city's low-income northern areas. This doctor Mengele from capitalism has been operating since 2005 and profiting from the insurance of patients, convincing them to remove teeth and put expensive implants in their place. The court proved that between 2006 and 2012 Gedge removed 3,900 healthy teeth. And this is not counting the many thousands of other imposed and unnecessary procedures.
It turned out, for example, that the dentist was able to convince an 18-year-old girl who came to him with a minor problem with tooth enamel to pull out 24 teeth at once. At the same time, the dentist did his job very poorly. He performed procedures that usually take 45 minutes to an hour in 10 minutes - such operations led to complications and the spread of infection in the oral cavity.

It is noteworthy that in 2010, Gedge, thanks to his “talents,” became the highest paid dentist in France, earning 2.9 million euros per year.
As a result, the dentist acquired an impressive villa on the seashore, a yacht, and surrounded himself with luxury, expensive paintings and other objects of art. And law enforcement officers found 2.2 million euros in his bank account. Gedge has been in prison since September last year. However, the other day the court confirmed the verdict and decided to confiscate the villa, which the dentist managed to transfer to his wife. Guedge was sent to prison for 8 years, along with him, his 71-year-old father, who worked with Lionel and covered up his crimes, received a 5-year sentence.
