A brazen robber tried to rob a schoolgirl right in the store, but did not expect that the fragile girl would grab her with a death grip and not allow him to escape. The incident occurred on October 15 in the “Monetka” chain supermarket on Bolshakova Street in Yekaterinburg.

The girl came to the store with her mother, but stayed to wait for her at the exit. Footage from a surveillance camera shows a man standing next to her at the table where food is collected and drinking beer from a plastic bottle. The schoolgirl did not pay attention to him, rummaging through her phone, but he did not take his eyes off her. After waiting for one of the customers to leave the store, he attacked the girl and tried to take away the iPhone. However, the victim was not afraid and first grabbed the criminal by the sleeve, and when he was able to break free and run to the exit, she attacked him from behind and began loudly calling for help. Store security guards and ordinary customers rushed to catch up and detained the robber at the exit from the store.

The schoolgirl took her phone, but for some reason the guards and passers-by did not put the criminal on the ground and did not call the police. The mother of the injured girl did not write a statement against him either. Perhaps she didn’t want to get involved with Russian law enforcement and waste her time.
