Sergei Gladkov died at the age of 60. He played a loser in Pun Bar, a dispatcher and Mrs. Burple in Steep Peak, and a guy in Village of Fools.





He was the creator and bearer of the image of the Man from the “Village of Fools”; other equally memorable images of Sergei are the Loser from the “Bar Pun” section, Drankel from the “Iron Kaput” section, Mrs. Burpul from the “Steep Pike” section and a number of other characters.

Also in 1991 - 1995 he starred in the humorous program “Masks Show”.



He was a sound engineer for many films and programs, including: “Naked and Funny”, “Pranksters”, “Friendly Family”, etc.

For many, his immortal image of the Man from the Village of Fools became a symbol of carefree childhood. And Sergei Igorevich himself made a huge contribution to television, creating the sound design for many humorous programs.

The cause of Gladkov's death has not been announced.

Farewell to him will take place in Odessa on October 21.
