A New Zealander jumped from a bridge 941 times in a day and broke a world record.
However, his main achievement is the donation of prize money to charity.
Extreme sportsman from New Zealand Mike Hurd set a world record in bungee jumping (jumping from a height with an elastic rope), jumping from a bridge 941 times in one day. The 41-year-old adrenaline junkie covered his path to the Guinness World Record live on social networks. As Hurd admitted, between jumps, so as not to accidentally vomit, he ate only nuts, bananas and chocolate.
It is noteworthy that the New Zealander already set a record in 2017, but then he did 500 fewer jumps. Last year he was surpassed by Frenchman Francois-Marie Dibon by jumping from Harry's Bridge in Scotland 765 times in one day. Hurd did not tolerate this and set himself the task of regaining the world championship. However, representatives of the Guinness Book of Records have not yet managed to register the New Zealander’s achievement.

It is noteworthy that Hurd received prize money in the amount of 8.6 thousand New Zealand dollars (8.1 thousand US dollars) for his jumps. The extreme sportsman promised to use this money to help people with mental health problems.
