Car thief got stuck in doorway and nearly lost his pants during arrest in US

Most police chases end in dramatic fashion, but the pursuit of a Mercedes carjacker in Los Angeles a few days ago had a comical ending.

The moment when several patrol crews chased a stolen car through the busy streets of the metropolis was captured from a helicopter.

One can only guess how long the chase would have continued if one of the road users had not blocked the path of the stolen car with his car.

The thief, driven into a corner, decided to give up, but got stuck in the window opening of the side door and tried to leave the cabin for some time.

Ultimately, the dark-skinned attacker managed to escape from captivity and, miraculously without losing the lower part of his wardrobe, made a somersault to end up in the arms of law enforcement officers.

Nothing is reported about the further fate of the caught car thief.
