Audi has unveiled details of the restyling of the Q8 and SQ8 SUVs. The changes, by and large, are only cosmetic, and the main change is in technology - high-tech optics, for which you will have to pay extra. Accepting orders for new products in European countries is already open.





For crossovers, we developed a new radiator grille with alternative filling for each of the modifications and changed the plastic front bumper. The basic version of the Audi Q8 is distinguished by an abundance of black decor, and chrome inserts are available with the S-line package. There are several wheel design options available, which are now start at 20 inches, and a couple of new body colors.

LED optics included as standard crossover, expensive versions are equipped with matrix light, and for separate money Audi Q8 will be equipped with the latest headlights with laser technology - laser-phosphor high beam will be able to turn on automatically, but only at speeds above 70 km/h. Running lights optics consist of several segments and light up separately: the driver of the Audi Q8 will have choice of four “light signature” configurations.

The taillights will receive the same feature, while they are based on organic light-emitting diodes. An interesting one moved to the Audi Q8 technology already used on some other models: the lights will be turn on themselves if there is a distance of less than two meters from the car behind another vehicle is approaching. The interior has been refreshed with new leather trim options and tree. The capabilities of the media system have been improved - now it allows download some third party applications.

The engine range has not changed. Standard Q8 can be equipped with a 340-horsepower gasoline engine or one of two diesel engines developing 231 and 286 hp. With. Audi SQ8 retains its 4-liter V8, which provides 507 hp. With. and 770 Nm and accelerates the SUV to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

A modest update to one of the flagship models could be due to Audi's efforts to develop electric new products. TO for example, the Audi Q6 e-tron should enter the market in the near future, which is based on an innovative platform developed together with Porsche.
