American firm Classic Recreations under license from the company Shelby American will release a modern version of the classic roadster Shelby Cobra. True circulation will be limited to only ten copies.
The full name of this car is Diamond Edition 1965 Shelby Cobra is a reference to the Diamond Jubilee of the original Cobra. The roadster received a spatial tubular frame, a carbon fiber body and adjustable racing suspensions with push rods. External panels weighing only 39.9 kg, sports car curb weight, estimated developers, should not exceed 1043 kg. He drives 18" forged rims wrapped in different size tires. Responsible for braking 355mm perforated Baer discs with six-piston calipers in front and four-piston rear.
The novelty is powered by a five-liter V8 Gen3 Coyote Aluminator by Ford Racing with Magnuson supercharger and block MoTeC management. It develops about 1014 hp. and 1016 Nm and is combined with six-speed "mechanics" Tremec. For engine and transmission a racing cooling system is provided. Claimed acceleration time to 60 mph (97 km/h) - 3.9 seconds, top speed - 306 km/h.
