Sandstorm in Marrakech turned the city into Mars

The strongest sandstorm hit Morocco, the sky became a rich red color due to the huge amount of sand in the air.
Local residents and tourists, without leaving the Earth, were transported to Mars in an instant. At least it looked very similar. In a matter of hours, the tourist center of Morocco plunged into red twilight.
Wind gusts knocked down trees and damaged the infrastructure of the city. An 18-year-old boy who was crushed by a palm tree trunk died.
The Main Department of Meteorology reported that gusts of wind that brought sand with them reached 80 kilometers per hour. And the air temperature at that time was around 35 degrees.
