All airlines have free baggage allowances. baggage, and for an additional passenger is obliged to pay extra in accordance with established rates. 19-year-old Australian tried bypass the system by dressing up as a cabbage. And it only made it worse!

Adriana Ocampo, along with her friend, flew from Melbourne to her hometown of Adelaide on a Jetstar Airways flight. The weight of her luggage exceeded the limit of 15 pounds (6.8 kg) set by the airline, and she I knew about it in advance - after I "barely closed" my bag in hotel room.

However, the girls arrived at the airport hoping that they will somehow slip through with this advantage and everything will work out - for example, airport staff will not have time for a thorough check. It was very presumptuous.

As we queued up to board, we saw them pull out a weigh cart.

We were told that we had to pay $65 for overweight. I really didn't want to spend $65.

So Adriana decided to try a bold way around existing rules - just put on almost 6 kilograms clothes, additionally shoved what she could into her pockets, and into her pants put in the iPad. Naturally, filming it all on video for social networks and having fun until you drop.

“I looked like a bear. I'm small, petite, but looked like the complete opposite, ”she later admitted.

As a result, only two pairs of shoes were left in Adriana's luggage, jeans, socks... in general, real trifles. And she herself had six layers clothes.

Despite such efforts, the ploy did not work. Employees airlines told girls that paying $65 is still the same have to. Only at the same time, you also have to fly with all this clothes on yourself.

Everyone in line was staring and laughing at us, it was kind of embarrassing. People were annoyed that we were detaining everyone.

And yes, then I had to fly for 80 minutes, looking like a trainer of fighting dogs. Here is a bummer!

“We certainly see the funny side of this incident, however, there are rules that are fair to all,” said a spokesman airlines. - Keep track of how much luggage passengers take on board, means that everyone has a place for their belongings, and we respect our safety requirements.
