A collection of 230 abandoned classic cars put up for auction (31 photos + 1 video)

For a long time, only a few people knew about it, and now all cars will be sold at auction.





Collection of over 230 classic cars including Ferrari, Lancia, Facel Vegas, Alpine, Ford, Tatra, BMW, Mercedes, Lincoln and many others, was found in three buildings. It's interesting that only a few people knew about this place. Now this is a vast collection put up for sale.

Gallery Aaldering recently discovered in the Netherlands "Collection Palmen Barnfind". Mr. Palmen started it about 40 years ago by buying yellow Lancia B20, which is still part of the collection.

His ability to find cars was only matched by his love for privacy. Mr Palmen was so secretive that even his the neighbors did not know what he kept in his warehouses. As a result, few knew about the existence of this wonderful collection.

Over the years, Palmen rarely sold cars and had an excellent taste for the classics. In fact, his collection has grown to to such an extent that it occupied three buildings at once: two warehouses and an old church.



After the Aaldering Gallery bought the entire collection, all vehicles have been moved to one warehouse located in Dordrecht near Rotterdam. Vehicles will be sold through classic car auctions.

As you can see in these videos and photos, the cars they are so close to each other that it is difficult to see them all. In addition to the cars already listed above, there are Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, Chevrolet, Alvises, Villards, BMW, Aston Martin and others.

Despite the fact that cars are covered with a thick layer of dust and dirt (it's still a barn find) classic car auctions and gallery Aaldering claim they are in good shape though unrestored condition.

Mr. Palmer is said to have single-handedly looked after the collection (hence the dust), but he ran the engines regularly to make sure that they didn't jam. However, to refresh most vehicles, no doubt, it will take a lot of work.
