Drunk garbage truck driver knocked out two motorcyclists
In Belogorsk, Amur Region, at the intersection of Chekhov and May 9 streets, a MAZ garbage truck collided with two motorcycles at once. The incident was caught on a street surveillance camera.
The bikers stopped at an intersection before a red traffic light. At that moment, a garbage truck caught up with them. Without slowing down, the truck hit one of the motorcyclists, causing him to fall, and the second one flew off to the side from the impact. At the same time, the garbage truck continued to move, pushing the motorcycle in front of it.
After the accident, the bike caught fire, only the body remained of it. The 37-year-old motorcyclist was injured, the second escaped with bruises, the State Traffic Inspectorate specified. The truck driver is believed to have been drunk.
