And hell began. Residents of Barrow-in-Furness (county of Cumbria) - where Eleanor lived - demanded from the police immediately deal with this case and organized the movement "Justice for Ellie. More than 100,000 users have joined social networks, and they chose a purple elephant as their symbol.

The accused men: Oliver Gardner, Jordan Trengov and Mohammed Ramzan. Each was detained and spent several weeks in cell with pedophiles and real rapists. Especially got Mohammed Ramzan - the girl accused him of sleeping with him for the first time her at the age of 12, and then sold into sexual slavery in Amsterdam. More added that he is the leader of a gang that is engaged in this criminal business.

After that, the man's house was painted with a spray can and they wrote "rapist", and at that time he was "chasing" in the cell.

While everyone was shouting and demanding justice, the investigators worked thoughtfully. And found out: no "slavery" in Amsterdam was not, Ellie went there to relax with her sister. And rape with there were no beatings either - no one touched the girl with a finger, and bruises and she inflicted the bruises on herself. They began to interrogate her and she fell down. The accused men were immediately released, later they stated that due to threatening them with a term and harassment, tried to commit suicide.

After that, they decided to check the lady for sanity, but psychiatrists found no abnormalities in her. One of the doctors suggested that her frills are associated with a mysterious childhood psychological trauma.

Jury verdict: Guilty. Now she's going to jail for 8.5 years. And Ellie, in response, made a new post and turned to the judge:

I understand that your work - to believe the jury's verdict, and that's okay. I know that I allowed some mistakes, sorry. I know it's not an excuse, but I was young and confused.

The judge called her accusations "complete fiction" and criticized:

She showed no significant signs of remorse.

After the session, the jurors met outside the courthouse with poor fellows who managed to "sit" because of false accusations. They hugged them and shook hands with them.
