Chinese man who robbed a gas station in 2009 and escaped from 156 yuan, spent 14 years hiding from the police in remote mountain cave.







Liu Mufu, a villager from the vicinity of Enshi City in China's Hubei province was about 35 years old when he and her husband sister and another accomplice took part in the robbery of a gas station stations. As a result, their production amounted to 156 yuan. Part money they quickly spent on food and fireworks, as a result of which they only 32 yuan left for each. The three men separated but the police soon found Liu's accomplices and arrested them. The escaped robber hid in the woods while the police searched his house and interrogated his family, and eventually settled in a small karst cave.
