In one of the Kazan houses from the height of the ninth floor, an elevator collapsed, in which there were seven passengers. The elevator was called in order to transport a bedridden patient, to whom an ambulance arrived, Chelninskiye Izvestiya writes.

The doctors with the patient and the attendant entered the cabin, the elevator cable could not stand it and broke. The cabin crashed down.
On the second floor, traps worked, but there were no casualties. The man suffered a broken spine and leg.

In the HOA, the blame is now being placed on the passengers themselves, who overloaded the elevator. Although the house documents say that the lift capacity is 500 kg.
