On January 4, a law enforcement officer who dined at a drinking establishment in the city of Tongling (Anhui Province, China) got in the way of a wheel that flew off a truck.
The policeman who was knocked down by the wheel was thrown aside. The law enforcement officer received non-life-threatening bruises and abrasions, after which he was sent to the hospital.
According to the media, the wheel hub of the truck split while driving.
The building of the drinking establishment was damaged and will require costly repairs.
