Firefighters in Ohio are having a tough day. Derailed more than 50 wagons with all sorts of different toxic substances caught fire. It is dangerous to approach the wagons, but it is necessary to put out the fire.





The accident happened at 21:00 on Friday. The train was carrying 140 wagons from Madison, Illinois to Conway, Pennsylvania. Because of what more 50 wagons derailed, it turns out. Rail operator Norfolk Southern has not yet released information on this matter.



Fire Chief Keith Drabik said firefighters are more most concerned about vinyl chloride. This substance was transported in 14 wagons and at least one "periodically releases content via pressure relief device. A state of emergency has been declared in the district. The evacuation zone covered from 1500 to 2000 people out of 4800-4900 residents of the city.

Federal officials said they were concerned about other potentially hazardous materials that were carried on this train.
