Like a real one: the guy made a cool xenomorph from "Aliens" (13 photos)

Pole Michał Kruszyński loves everything that associated with "Aliens" and classic fantasy. Also, he recently free time appeared, and with his own hands he made a xenomorph or "Alien" from the 1986 film of the same name. Check out his creation!

He recently made this life-size replica of the Alien - and the result was an impressive sculpture that took 10 weeks to complete. According to the master, before creating the figure, he looked through many archival photos and documentary videos to see all the details xenomorph from the classic horror "Aliens".



"For this complex project, I used styrofoam and rubber to recreate the details of the xenomorph's body parts. I used pieces of styrofoam different thicknesses and hardness, covering it at the end with several layers latex. In the next steps, I needed a knife to cut out shapes, glue, liquid latex to give a skin-like texture, brush and airbrush for coloring and adding volume," says the artist.



The artist tried to convey all the details as much as possible. original character: "In documentaries about the creation xenomorphs have scenes in which the special effects artist sponge applied paint to the head of an alien. I also used the same method to get as close to the real character as possible."



Michal worked on the creation of xenomorph in the evenings for 10 weeks: "I worked on the project in his off-duty evenings. During the day I have a lot responsibilities - the main activity, family and children," says the artist.
