Passable shorty: "Niva" turned into an awkward six-wheeled pickup truck (3 photos)
After Mercedes-Benz built the glorious G63 AMG 6x6 the fashion for such crooks has increased dramatically. Usually adding extra a pair of wheels adds brutality, but something clearly went wrong with this Niva not this way.
Usually, along with an “extra” pair of wheels, an SUV or pickup truck gets a longer wheelbase. But the creator of this "Niva" decided that won't do it. The result was a car, the dimensions are not exceeding the standard "Niva", the axes of which are almost evenly distributed along the entire length of the chassis.
In the photographs you can see that it is based on a homemade welded frame assembled from square tubes. Attached to her suspension of all three axles, engine, as well as a modified body from "Niva", turned into a pickup truck. The latter, by the way, does not have a tailgate and inner lining.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of questions about the project. We don't know what the engine is installed here and what kind of transmission (it is very likely that the drive is only on the front wheels). It is also not clear what handling and maneuverability. In any case, it looks like the car was made purely for fun.
