The Hubble telescope took a picture of the "threads" of the dead star

NASA releases image of supernova DEM L 190 located at a distance of about 160 thousand light years from Earth in satellite galaxy of the Milky Way - the Large Magellanic Cloud.

Thanks to the Hubble telescope, which was put into orbit by the crew spacecraft Discovery in 1990, it became possible to transmit to Earth millions of unique images that have allowed scientists to expand idea of the universe.
