Lalit Patidar, 17, lives in the small village of Nandleta in Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. At the age of six, the boy began excessive hair growth all over the face and was diagnosed hypertrichosis, which is also called "werewolf syndrome". Disease extremely rare - it is believed that in history since the Middle Ages it only found in 50 people.
But not so long ago, the guy began to declare himself, and he had a dream - become a successful youtuber. In one interview, he admitted that before peers constantly made fun of him and mocked him, and even threw him in him stones. Classmates at school called him "monkey boy" and they were afraid that Lalit would bite them. However, despite the negative aspects, the guy maintains a positive outlook on life. He studies, helps his father for work, and is pursuing his dream of making videos.
"I was born into a good family. My father is a farmer and now I I help him with his work while studying at the same time in high school. body hair I have had all my life. Parents said that at birth the doctors shaved. I didn't even notice any hair until I was six years. That was the first time I noticed that hair was growing on my body. just like the others," says Lalit.
"Classmates often teased me, shouted after me:" Monkey, monkey!", people and small children often frightened me. Someone even thought I was a ghost or some mythical creature. even into me threw stones - but I think it was unfair to a child who has known no other form all his life."
There is currently no specific cure for hypertrichosis. According to Lalit, when the hair gets too long, he just cuts it. "It like the hair on my head - it will keep growing and I have no way deal with them. I don't believe there will ever be a cure for this. But over time, I realized that having body hair made me different. from others, in a good way. I am unique. Over the years, I've learned a lot things, and one of them is that I'm one in a million and that I shouldn't give up. You have to live life to the fullest, move forward, be happy." - says the guy.
