Many times in old photographs I came across houses on wheels made of wood. In the truest sense of the word, living the space is located inside a huge log. Perhaps you are like this photos came across.



I always wanted to look inside such an unusual camper, and now luck smiled - one of the few such surviving mobile homes.





It was based on a huge sequoia. You can only imagine how huge the tree was if only that part was long the trunk is 10 meters, and its diameter is about 3 meters. Therefore, inside is quite comfortable for a person up to 185 centimeters tall. This house Definitely not for gnomes.



Work on the creation of the camper took a whole year, it was in 1939. If a think that only two people worked on the project, taking into account technology of those times, they quickly coped. I don't represent how many calluses on their hands this project left.



Inside there is a bedroom, a living room and a kitchen, almost all the furniture is made of array of the same sequoia, everything turned out in the same style, and the material there was plenty. The current owner wants to get behind his camper in 11.5 million dollars. I do not think that buyers will be found quickly, but it's impossible to make a new one.



Cutting down giant sequoias has been banned since 1968.
