The two-door car spent all 35 years of its life in the same hands, but the former the owner hardly drove it - the mileage is only 3.7 thousand kilometers - and kept the car in a completely factory condition.
Buick GNX introduced in final year of production model Regal, on the basis of which it is built. Its main feature was modified 3.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine: engine power brought to 280 hp and 488 Nm according to the passport, but in reality it developed over 300 forces and about 570 Nm of torque.
The GNX also received a reinforced automatic transmission, a different exhaust and special decor. According to unofficial measurements, the two-door was capable of reach 60 mph (96.6 km/h) in 4.6 seconds and pass traditional drag distance of a quarter mile (402 meters) in 12.7 seconds.
Despite the high price, the sold copy did not set a record for cost for the GNX - in 2021, a similar car went on sale for 275 thousand dollars. However, in that case, the machine, one might say, in general never went.
