The racer reached the final thanks to his favorite tactics from computer games
Sometimes tricks from video games work in real life. This was proved by the NASCAR racer from the Trackhouse team. Athlete Ross Chastain, who drives a Chevrolet Camaro, secured a ticket to the final of the race thanks to tactics from racing computer games.
Sunday was the penultimate race of the season in NASCAR. Rider Ross Chastain left tenth for the final lap. He decided not to slow down before the last turn and pressed himself against the wall. Almost without slowing down, he went in an arc and began to overtake rivals one after another. Thanks to this maneuver, he was able to reach the final of the race, which will take place on Sunday 6 November.
The pilot said he did this trick many times as a kid in NASCAR 2005 and didn't know if he could do it in real life.
